Mr. Dachi’s series
Mr. Dachi’s animations were produced by the order of the Shiraz Municipality Cultural Deputy and directed by Mohammad Ali Sharifpour in 1994.
This series of two-dimensional animated comics deals with citizenship and public culture issues; in each of them, one of the problems of citizenship is addressed.

Dachi is a Shirazi term meaning older brother, which was chosen for the name of the main character of this series, which is a symbol of Shiraz society.
The characters of Mr. Dachi’s comic collection symbolize people and city culture, who create bitter comic situations with their mistakes and deal with the city’s problems.
Mr. Dachi’s series of animations are more educational than entertainment.
These animations were produced in the first years of the spread of social networks in Iran; they were able to spread the concerns of urbanization problems and social harms in the society.
